Soak in warm water at least 2 minutes prior to initial use. Please reuse these durable sponges many times. To sanitize this natural kitchen sponge, simmer, machine wash, or pop in the dishwasher as needed. Twist loofah sponge to remove excess water & air dry for best results & maximum re-use potential. Please compost each eco friendly kitchen sponge after full use, as it will return to the soil.

Other brands may claim to offer a compostable kitchen sponge, but our research has shown that nearly all other “natural” dish scrubbers, including coconut scrubbers & walnut sponges have added PET / polyester, which is a petroleum based plastic that is not compostable or biodegradable. This contributes to the build up of micro-plastics in our environment. Although these other choices are at least somewhat plant based, a BeMind eco friendly sponge will fully decompose with no harm to the earth.

Believe it or not, figuring out the size to make these sponges was an essential part of the design process. Making large sponges seemed like a massive waste, and small sponges are limited in their use. We settled on a 4 x 2.5 x 0.3-inch size, which we believe is perfect for all cleaning tasks.
Will Not Rip Apart Or Crumble Easily

Some people have a misconception that natural products are not durable. We intend to change that. These sponges are naturally bonded together and cotton stitched, so they won’t peel apart or start crumbling like other off-the-shelf sponges. You can scrub all day, every day, and these sponges will remain intact.
